A little about our friend Jason Waller from Playa Del Carmen Real Estate

Jason Waller - Playa Del Carmen Real Estate

I moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico almost 11 years ago from Winnipeg Canada. Have loved every day of living in paradise. Started off working as the Sales Manager of an existing real estate company but then started my own company 6 years ago and now have 3 agents working with us.

Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to start working on the HGTV show House Hunters International. We have currently done 4 episodes and are working on a few more at this time. They are lots of fun and it's great to be exposed to the 40 million viewers world wide.

I am now expanding the company to work with commercial real estate and investors. We have a large list of hotels and resorts for sale in many different budgets.

Life is good in paradise...

Rum Journal: Destileria Mayapan

Framed in an Agave Azul (tequilana weber) plantation is the distillery, where the distill of the MAYAPAN takes place in an artisanal way using the techniques that were used by Mexicans that began the manufacture of tequila more than 400 years ago. This artisanal process gives the agave distill MAYAPAN its unique and exquisite bouquet.
The tour at the Distillery includes a walk through the Agave fields where the jimado (Agave harvest) takes place, a visit to the Distillery where the visitor can see step by step the process to obtain the end product and finally, the visitor is invited to a free tasting of the agave distill: MAYAPAN.

Behold The Islands of the Bahamas

The Islands of The Bahamas are unlike any place on earth. So unique that most travelers never want to leave. The Bahamas is made up of an estimated 700 Islands and Cays spread over 100,000 square miles of crystal clear waters. The name Bahamas is derived from the Spanish name "Baja Mar" meaning shallow water or sea. Not only does The Bahamas have the clearest waters in the world but it also enjoys beautifully warm weather all year around. The Bahamas constantly finds itself as the #1 destination for travels escaping the frigid winter snow. The Bahamas is located 90 miles west off the coast of Florida which makes traveling to The Bahamas very convenient, only a short 30 minute flight from Miami or Fort Lauderdale. There are also daily international flights from all over the world including USA, Canada, UK and China just to name a few. Along with its beautiful weather and location The Bahamas has proven to be a stable, democratic and secure environment for all locals and visitors alike making it a very desirable place for real estate developments, mega resort destinations and second home buyers.
